Overview of Program

Every business and non-profit making organization work on projects to attain its goals. To attain challenging goals in today’s work place, organizations need to set up their project management game. Indeed, project management has undergone great transformation that has immensely improved on how projects are planned, written, implemented, controlled, goals attained and impact assessed.

Acquiring the necessary skills in project management opens the doors to so many opportunities in both private and public companies and largely in not-for-profit organizations (NGOs, civil societies). Studying project management at the HND level also builds a solid foundation in the student for the management of programs.

At YIBS, we have the competent team of experts to train and coach people to better manage their projects and gain competitive edge.

At the end of the training, students are awarded HND in Project Management.

Objective of the Training

The objective of this HND specialty is to train technicians capable of conceiving, planning and managing projects of both business establishments and not-for-profit making organizations through the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge in project management.

This HND training is for a period of two (2) years. Upon completion, the student spends a year to obtain a professional degree.

  • Grade 1 teachers (CAPIEM or CAPIET holders)

Further Studies

Upon obtaining the HND certificate in Project Management, the students could choose to pursue further studies by:

  • spending one more year to earn a degree in project management or related fields

  • taking relevant short intensive courses on project design, project implementation, project monitoring and program management
