To provide students with higher technical training, especially in ICT necessary to work with adults who are able and willing to continue education outside of a formal classroom situation.
Admission to the Professional Degree Programme in Distance Education is open to holders of the HND/HPD, BTS, DSEP in Education, and other certificates related to the discipline.
The duration of the degree program is one year (two semesters) in YIBS including an internship.
For a student to qualify for graduation, a minimum of 60 credits must be earned.
FURTHER STUDIES
Upon graduation with the Bachelor’s certificate in distance education, the students could choose to pursue further studies by spending one more year to earn in degree in any related Education field
Job Opportunities: Upon completion of this program, students can become distance education trainers, Contractors, and evaluators of LMS (Learning Management Systems), and develop pedagogic platforms for distance learning at all levels of education. Students can also gain full employment in the ministries of education and even other ministries and International organizations.
