The duties of assistant managers involve multiple individuals executing daily administrative tasks for an organization. In government, educational and other large institutions utilize a secretariat department. Duties include handling human resources and personnel issues, implementation, media/ public relations, and trend tracking. Depending on the organization, the secretariat handles company finances, responsible for office design and management of the company database.

The Teaching profession (Secondary, General, and technical/Professional Schools), Accounting and bookkeeping, calendar management, records management, arranging travel plans, typing, event planning, preparing reports, processing expense reports, taking meetings minutes, consultancy, all state ministries as well as public enterprises, research organizations, administrative staff of universities, self-employment, private ownership of business enterprise, non-governmental organization, multinational companies.
Admission to the Professional Degree Programme in Assistant Manager is open to holders of the HND/HPD, BTS, DSEP, and other certificates related to the discipline.
The duration of the degree program is one year (two semesters) in YIBS including an internship.
For a student to qualify for graduation, a minimum of 60 credits must be earned.
